Ingredients
Spaghetti or fettuccine
Butter
Minced garlic
Grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional parsley for garnish

Instructions
Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the garlic butter.
Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the pasta and mix until the cheese is melted and evenly distributed.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve hot garnished with parsley if desired.
Notes
For a creamier version, save some pasta water and whisk it into the butter cheese mix. You can also add chicken or shrimp for protein.
