Ingredients
- Spaghetti or fettuccine
- Butter
- Minced garlic
- Grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the garlic butter.
- Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the pasta and mix until the cheese is melted and evenly distributed.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot garnished with parsley if desired.
Notes
For a creamier version, save some pasta water and whisk it into the butter cheese mix. You can also add chicken or shrimp for protein.
