Description

Deliciously crispy air fryer fried pickles are the ultimate guilt-free snack, combining crunch and tang without the mess of deep frying.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Dill pickles or any type of pickles
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Slice the pickles into chips or spears.
  2. Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with a mixture of cornmeal, panko breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dip each pickle slice in flour, then in the egg, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  5. Place the breaded pickles in the air fryer basket in a single layer and spray lightly with cooking spray.
  6. Air fry for about 10 to 12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

Ensure pickles are dry before breading for maximum crunch. Avoid overcrowding the basket for the best results.
