Baked Cajun Salmon with Avocado Lime Sauce

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Rub the olive oil and Cajun seasoning over the fillets.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flaky.
  5. While the salmon is baking, prepare the avocado lime sauce by blending the avocado, Greek yogurt, lime juice, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  6. Once the salmon is done, remove it from the oven and drizzle the avocado lime sauce over the top.
  7. Garnish with fresh cilantro if desired and serve immediately.

Notes

  1. Do not overbake the salmon; it continues to cook after being removed from the oven. Blend the sauce until smooth for the best texture.
