Description
This baked Cajun salmon is spicy and quick, served with a creamy avocado lime sauce for a decadent touch.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 ripe avocado
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 lime, juiced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Rub the olive oil and Cajun seasoning over the fillets.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flaky.
- While the salmon is baking, prepare the avocado lime sauce by blending the avocado, Greek yogurt, lime juice, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Once the salmon is done, remove it from the oven and drizzle the avocado lime sauce over the top.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro if desired and serve immediately.
Notes
Do not overbake the salmon; it continues to cook after being removed from the oven. Blend the sauce until smooth for the best texture.
