Description

A quick and delicious beef burrito filled with seasoned beef, cheese, fresh veggies, and a dollop of sour cream, all wrapped in a warm tortilla.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
  • 4 large tortillas
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 1 cup lettuce
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: jalapeños, guacamole

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Warm the tortillas in a separate skillet or microwave.
  3. Lay each tortilla flat and layer with cooked beef, cheese, tomatoes, onions, and lettuce.
  4. Add a dollop of sour cream and salsa.
  5. Roll the tortillas tightly to enclose the filling.
  6. Serve immediately with a side of crispy fries.

Notes

Be sure to drain excess fat from the cooked beef to prevent soggy tortillas. For crunch, add lettuce just before rolling.
