Best Garlic Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf French bread or Italian bread
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Slice the loaf of bread in half lengthwise.
  4. Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly on both halves of the bread.
  5. If using, sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
  6. Place the bread halves on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes or until the edges are golden and crispy.
  8. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

  1. For a faster method, try making this in an air fryer. You can also experiment with different types of bread and cheeses.
