A cheesy and comforting beef casserole that’s quick to prepare and sure to please a crowd.
Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 2 cups pasta (elbow macaroni or rotini)
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and diced onion over medium heat until browned; drain excess fat.
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions; drain.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked beef, cooked pasta, cream of mushroom soup, milk, and half of the cheddar cheese.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Pour the mixture into a greased casserole dish and top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Let the casserole rest so it sets. Drain the beef well for the best texture. Use quality cheese for improved flavor.
