Cheesy Garlic Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 French baguette or loaf of Italian bread
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Slice the bread in half lengthwise and spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over both halves.
  4. Sprinkle the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese generously over the bread.
  5. Place the bread on a baking sheet and bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the edges of the bread are golden brown.
  6. Remove from the oven, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

  1. For a crispier top, broil for an additional 1-2 minutes, but monitor closely to prevent burning.
