Ingredients
1 loaf of French or Italian bread
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a bowl, mix the softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper until well combined.
Slice the loaf of bread in half lengthwise and spread the garlic butter mixture evenly on each half.
Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
Place the bread on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the edges are crispy.
Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, then slice and serve.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding herbs like basil or oregano, or toppings like sliced cherry tomatoes or pepperoni.
