Ingredients
8 oz fettuccine pasta
1 lb chicken breast, diced or sliced
1 cup heavy cream
4 tbsp butter
1 cup parmesan cheese, freshly grated
3 cloves garlic, minced
Salt, to taste
Pepper, to taste
Parsley for garnish

Instructions
Cook
fettuccine pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
In
a skillet, melt butter over medium heat and add minced garlic; sauté until fragrant.
Add
diced chicken breast to the skillet and cook until golden brown and cooked through.
Pour
in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
Stir
in grated parmesan cheese, and season with salt and pepper.
Add
the cooked fettuccine to the sauce and toss to combine.
Serve
garnished with parsley.
Notes
Freshly grated parmesan melts smoother and tastes brighter than pre-grated. Optional: Add spinach for color or red pepper flakes for heat.
