Description

Crunchy and sweet air fryer banana chips that are easy to make and a healthier alternative to deep-fried snacks.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon sugar or sugar substitute
  • Cooking spray (optional)

Instructions

  1. Slice the bananas thinly, aiming for about 1/8 inch thick for even crispiness.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the cinnamon and sugar until even and lump-free.
  3. Toss the banana slices in the cinnamon-sugar mixture until coated.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Arrange the banana slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket without overlapping.
  6. Lightly spray with cooking spray if desired.
  7. Air fry for about 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through. Watch carefully to avoid burning.
  8. Let cool before serving to enhance crispiness.

Notes

Store cooled chips in an airtight container for up to two days. To revive soggy chips, re-air fry for 1-2 minutes.
