Classic Garlic Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of crusty bread (preferably Italian or French)
  • 1/2 cup softened salted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix softened butter with minced garlic, chopped parsley, and a pinch of salt and pepper until combined.
  3. Cut the loaf of bread in half lengthwise and spread the garlic butter mixture evenly on both halves.
  4. Place the bread on a baking sheet and bake for about 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown and toasted.
  5. For extra crispiness, broil for an additional 1 to 2 minutes, watching closely to avoid burning.
  6. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, then slice and serve warm.

Notes

  1. For a healthier option, swap butter for olive oil. You can also add cheese on top for cheesy garlic bread.
