Colorful Caprese Pasta Salad

Ingredients
2 cups pasta, fusilli or bowtie
1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
1 cup fresh mozzarella balls, halved
1 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
Cook
the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and let cool.
In
a large bowl, combine the cooled pasta, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil.
In
a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper.
Pour
the dressing over the pasta salad and toss gently to combine.
Serve
chilled or at room temperature.
Notes
For extra dressing, double the olive oil and vinegar. Feel free to add sliced bell peppers or radishes for crunch.
