Description

Delicious apple pie flavors wrapped in crispy tortillas, made easy in the air fryer.


Ingredients

  • 6 small flour tortillas
  • 2 cups apples, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce (optional)
  • Cooking spray or oil for frying
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix diced apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice in a bowl.
  2. Place a spoonful of the apple mixture on each tortilla and roll tightly.
  3. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  4. Arrange the taquitos in the basket, making sure they are not touching.
  5. Spray the top of the taquitos lightly with cooking spray.
  6. Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 8-10 minutes or until golden and crispy, flipping halfway through.
  7. Drizzle with caramel sauce and dust with powdered sugar if desired.
  8. Serve warm.

Notes

Ensure to roll tightly to prevent filling escape. Don’t overcrowd the air fryer.
