Ingredients
4 salmon fillets (skin on, about 6 ounces each)
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
3 cloves garlic (minced)
2 tablespoons olive oil
Chopped green onions (for garnish, optional)

Instructions
Prep the salmon by patting it dry with paper towels. Mince the garlic and measure the honey and soy sauce.
In a small bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic, and whisk until smooth.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add olive oil and place the salmon skin side down, cooking for 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy.
Flip the fillets, pour the honey garlic mixture around the fish, and reduce heat to medium. Spoon the glaze over the salmon and cook for another 2-4 minutes until done.
Transfer salmon to plates, spoon any extra glaze over, and garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
For a plant-based version, try crispy honey garlic tofu. For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the glaze.
