A delicious and easy crockpot French dip recipe that requires minimal effort and delivers maximum flavor.

- 2 pounds beef chuck roast
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (14 oz) beef broth
- 1 cup water
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- French rolls or hoagie buns
- Provolone cheese, sliced
Instructions
- Place the beef chuck roast in the crockpot.
- Add sliced onions, minced garlic, beef broth, water, soy sauce, Italian seasoning, and season with salt and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 480 minutes (8 hours) or high for 240 minutes (4 hours).
- Once done, remove the beef, shred it, and return to the pot to soak in the juices.
- Serve the shredded beef on French rolls or hoagie buns topped with provolone cheese.
- Pour the au jus from the crockpot into small bowls for dipping.
Notes
For a fancier touch, toast the buns and melt the provolone under the broiler for 1-2 minutes.
