- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar for coating
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon for coating
- Oil spray for greasing
Instructions
- Combine water, butter, sugar, and salt in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, keeping an eye on it to prevent bubbling over.
- Remove from heat and stir in flour until a ball forms. Stir quickly to combine evenly.
- Let it cool slightly, then beat in eggs and vanilla until the mixture is smooth and glossy.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) to ensure the bites puff and crisp properly.
- Pipe small rounds onto parchment paper, making them bite-sized for even cooking.
- Spray with oil and air fry in batches for 10-12 minutes until golden. Avoid overcrowding the basket and flip if necessary.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Taste the mix for adjustments.
- Toss churro bites in the cinnamon sugar mix before serving. Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
Avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket to ensure even cooking. Use warm bites for tossing in cinnamon sugar for best results.
