Ingredients
1 lb Italian or French loaf
0.5 cup unsalted butter, softened
4 cloves garlic, finely minced
1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
0.125 tsp sea salt
0.25 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
0.5 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Extra chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cut the loaf in half lengthwise and place both halves on the baking sheet with cut sides up.
In a medium bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and sea salt. Mix until smooth.
Spread the garlic butter evenly across the cut sides of the bread.
Bake for 10 to 15 minutes until edges are lightly golden and butter has melted.
If using cheese, sprinkle it on top during the last two minutes of baking.
Bake an additional 3 to 5 minutes for extra crunch.
Cool slightly before slicing and serving.
