Ingredients
1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Salt to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sautéing until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Add the shrimp to the skillet and season with salt.
Cook the shrimp, stirring occasionally, until they are pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side.
Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley.
Serve immediately with lemon wedges.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute olive oil for butter. Be careful not to overcook the shrimp as they turn rubbery very quickly.
