Description
A creamy, garlicky dish featuring tender steak and pasta that feels fancy but is quick and easy to make.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz fettuccine or pasta of choice
- 2 sirloin steaks
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Season the steaks with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the steaks and cook to your desired doneness (about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare). Remove from the skillet and let rest, then slice thinly.
- In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add minced garlic. Cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese and cook until the sauce thickens.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Add sliced steak on top.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
Notes
Avoid overcooking the steak and burning the garlic for the best flavor. Consider alternatives like ribeye or vegetarian options if desired.
