Ground Beef Cottage Cheese Pasta Bake

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 3 cups cooked pasta
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in the marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper; let simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Combine the cooked pasta, cottage cheese, and half of the mozzarella cheese in a large bowl.
  5. Add the meat sauce to the pasta mixture and mix well.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  7. Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  1. This dish is forgiving, so adding more cheese is okay! Perfect for weeknight dinners or casual entertaining.
