Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped green bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped mushrooms
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Lettuce, tomato, and condiments (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, onion, bell pepper, mushrooms, soy sauce, bread crumbs, black pepper, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into 4 patties.
  3. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
  4. Serve on hamburger buns with lettuce, tomato, and your favorite condiments.

Notes

  1. Let the patties rest for a couple of minutes after cooking to allow the juices to settle.
