Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/2 cup finely chopped green bell pepper
- 1/2 cup finely chopped mushrooms
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 4 hamburger buns
- Lettuce, tomato, and condiments (optional)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, onion, bell pepper, mushrooms, soy sauce, bread crumbs, black pepper, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into 4 patties.
- Preheat a grill or skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
- Serve on hamburger buns with lettuce, tomato, and your favorite condiments.
Notes
Let the patties rest for a couple of minutes after cooking to allow the juices to settle.
