High-Protein Honey Garlic Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice or vegetables for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  3. Add shrimp to the pan and cook for 2 to 3 minutes on each side until pink and cooked through.
  4. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the shrimp and cook for an additional 1 to 2 minutes, stirring to coat.
  5. Serve the shrimp over cooked rice or alongside your favorite vegetables.

Notes

  1. For a spicy kick, add red pepper flakes or a splash of sriracha. You can substitute honey with maple syrup for a different sweetness.
