Ingredients

  • 1 to 1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 to 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Chopped green onions, for garnish
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, sesame oil, and ginger.
  2. Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a little oil.
  4. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides.
  5. Pour the honey garlic mixture over the chicken and let it simmer, allowing the sauce to thicken and glaze the chicken.
  6. Cook until the chicken is fully cooked and the glaze is sticky.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

  1. Serve over rice or greens for a complete meal. Adjust seasonings according to taste.
