- 1/4 to 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce (regular or low sodium)
- 3 cloves minced garlic (or 1 tablespoon jarred)
- 1 to 2 tablespoons olive oil for frying
- Optional: ginger, fresh or powdered
- Optional: green onions for garnish
- Optional: cornstarch for thicker sauce
Instructions
- Season chicken with salt and pepper. Pat chicken dry to ensure browning.
- Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken for 6-8 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through.
- Combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and optional ginger in a bowl and stir until well mixed.
- Remove chicken from pan, pour sauce mixture into skillet and simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Return chicken to pan, coat in sauce, and serve garnished with green onions over rice or vegetables.
Notes
