Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 cups shredded cabbage
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce or coconut aminos
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chili flakes for heat

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add ground beef, breaking it apart, and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in shredded cabbage and soy sauce (or coconut aminos), mixing well.
  5. Cook until cabbage is tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  6. Season with salt, pepper, and chili flakes if desired.
  7. Serve on its own or with cauliflower rice.

Notes

  1. For best results, avoid overcrowding the pan to keep ingredients from becoming soggy. Feel free to adjust the seasoning and add more vegetables as desired.
