Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
2 green onions, sliced

Instructions
In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef and drain excess fat.
Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds.
Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Serve the beef mixture over hot cooked rice and sprinkle with sliced green onions.
Notes
Heat the rice before assembling to keep every bite warm. Do not skip the green onions for added brightness and crunch.
