Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Broccoli florets
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat until hot but not smoking.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the shrimp and cook until pink, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  4. Stir in the lemon juice and season with salt and pepper, adjusting as necessary.
  5. Toast the broccoli until tender and slightly charred.
  6. Serve the shrimp with the toasted broccoli and lemon wedges on the side.
