1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 bunch asparagus, trimmed and cut into 2 inch pieces
3 tablespoons olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 lemon, juiced and zested
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
Add garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add shrimp and asparagus to the skillet; season with salt and pepper.
Cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until shrimp are pink and asparagus is tender-crisp.
Pour lemon juice and zest over the mixture and stir to combine.
Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
Serve immediately.
