- 1 pound spaghetti
- 1 pound ground sausage
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
- In a large skillet, cook the ground sausage over medium heat until browned.
- Add the marinara sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the skillet, stirring to combine.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked spaghetti, sausage mixture, ricotta cheese, and half of the mozzarella cheese.
- Pour the spaghetti mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese and the Parmesan cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For best results, do not skip the ricotta. It prevents the casserole from being dry.
