One Pot Creamy Garlic Pasta

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the pasta and milk to the pot.
  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and cover. Cook for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is al dente and the liquid has thickened.
  5. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  1. Stir occasionally to prevent pasta from sticking. If the sauce is too thin, simmer uncovered to reduce it; if too thick, add a splash of milk.
