Description
A quick and easy one pot creamy garlic pasta recipe that delivers rich, garlicky comfort in no time.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 ounces pasta
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the pasta and milk to the pot.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and cover. Cook for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is al dente and the liquid has thickened.
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
Stir occasionally to prevent pasta from sticking. If the sauce is too thin, simmer uncovered to reduce it; if too thick, add a splash of milk.
