Ingredients

- 5–6 medium peaches, peeled and pitted
- 4–5 small jalapeños, seeded and finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 3 cups granulated sugar
Instructions
- Peel and pit peaches, then finely chop.
- Rinse jalapeños, remove seeds if less heat is desired, and finely chop.
- Combine peaches, jalapeños, lemon zest, and lemon juice in a large saucepan.
- Heat over medium-high, stirring until it begins to boil.
- Gradually add sugar while stirring constantly to dissolve.
- Cook for 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally until jam thickens.
- Test by coating the back of a spoon without dripping.
- Prepare clean jars by washing and drying thoroughly.
- Ladle hot jam into jars, leaving 1/4 inch headspace.
- Wipe rims, seal jars with lids, and let cool to room temperature before storing or gifting.
Notes
Adjust jalapeño seeds for desired heat level. Refrigerate after opening. Perfect for toast, cheese boards, or gifts.
