Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
2 tablespoons taco seasoning
1/2 cup diced onion
1/2 cup water
Taco shells or tortillas

Instructions
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and diced onion until the beef is browned. Break the meat apart with a spatula so it cooks evenly and the onions soften.
Drain excess grease. Remove the fat or use a paper towel to blot it out if preferred.
Stir in the taco seasoning and water. Mix thoroughly so every morsel gets coated.
Simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, to let the flavors mingle.
Serve in taco shells or tortillas and add your favorite toppings.
