Instructions
Prepare all vegetables by washing and chopping them. Mince the garlic. Measure out all sauces and seasonings.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add sesame oil and the minced garlic for the beef. Cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it into small pieces with a spatula.
Stir in soy sauce, chili flakes, and brown sugar. Let it simmer for 3 to 4 minutes until slightly thickened. Remove from heat and set aside.
In a separate pan, heat olive oil and sauté the garlic for the veggies for 30 seconds.
Add mushrooms and cook for 2 minutes until they start to brown at the edges.
Add broccoli, zucchini, and red bell pepper. Stir fry for 4 to 5 minutes until the vegetables are tender crisp.
Add the extra teaspoon of soy sauce and toss everything well.
To serve, place hot steamed rice into bowls. Arrange beef and vegetables on top or side by side.
Spoon any extra sauce over the bowl for added flavor.
Notes
