Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked jasmine rice
  • 1 lb chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger to make the sauce. Whisk until honey dissolves.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the chicken pieces. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Pour the sauce over the chicken and simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened. Stir to coat the chicken.
  4. Serve the sticky chicken over jasmine rice, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds. Enjoy!

Notes

  1. This dish makes great leftovers and is perfect for meal prep. Adjust honey or vinegar to taste.
