Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1/2 tsp red chili flakes (optional)
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 8 oz rice noodles or egg noodles
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, and red chili flakes thoroughly to form a flavorful sauce.
  2. Toss the chicken pieces with cornstarch until evenly coated.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add coated chicken and cook for 6-8 minutes until golden brown and fully cooked.
  5. Pour the sauce over the chicken and simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  6. Cook noodles according to package instructions, then drain.
  7. Add noodles to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce and chicken.
  8. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, consider squeezing lime and adding cilantro leaves before serving.
