Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1/2 tsp red chili flakes, optional
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 8 oz noodles (rice or egg noodles)
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds, optional

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, and red chili flakes to form a flavorful sauce.
  2. Toss the chicken pieces with cornstarch until evenly coated.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the coated chicken and cook for 6 to 8 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Pour the sauce over the chicken and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes until thickened.
  6. Cook the noodles according to package instructions, then drain.
  7. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss to coat.
  8. Sprinkle with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

  1. Serve hot and enjoy! Make sure not to overcrowd the pan when cooking the chicken.
