Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (your choice, such as penne or rigatoni)
  • 1 lb sausage (Italian or smoked, sliced or crumbled)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the sausage and cook until browned, breaking it into pieces as it cooks.
  4. Stir in the garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking for another minute until fragrant.
  5. Add honey and soy sauce to the skillet, stirring to combine with the sausage.
  6. Toss in the cooked pasta, mixing well to coat with the sauce.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes
