Ingredients

- 8 oz pasta (penne or fusilli)
- 1 lb sausage (Italian or preferred type, sliced into rounds)
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sliced sausage and cook until browned.
- Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for 1 to 2 minutes.
- Stir in honey and soy sauce, and let it simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
Notes
For variety, try adding vegetables like bell peppers or spinach. This dish can also be served over rice.
