- 1 pound Ground beef
- 1 medium Onion, chopped
- 1 can Cream of mushroom soup
- Frozen tater tots
- 2 cups Shredded cheese
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and onion until browned.
- Drain the excess fat and stir in cream of mushroom soup.
- In a baking dish, layer half of the tater tots, followed by the beef mixture, and top with shredded cheese.
- Add the remaining tater tots on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Serve hot.
Notes
For a healthier option, substitute ground beef with turkey or add vegetables.
