Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup canola or avocado oil
  • 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley (optional)
  • 1 loaf fresh bakery white bread

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F and grab a large baking sheet.
  2. In a small microwave-safe bowl, combine the butter, oil, garlic powder, and Kosher salt. Cover with plastic wrap and microwave for about 30 seconds until melted.
  3. Stir the mixture, adding parsley if using.
  4. Slice the bread into 1-inch thick slices and lay them on the baking sheet.
  5. Brush both sides of each slice with the garlic butter mixture.
  6. Bake for 4 minutes, then flip each slice and bake for another 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Serve and enjoy your masterpiece!

Notes

  1. For a dairy-free version, use coconut oil instead of butter. Experiment with different types of bread for a unique twist.
