- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup canola or avocado oil
- 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley (optional)
- 1 loaf fresh bakery white bread
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F and grab a large baking sheet.
- In a small microwave-safe bowl, combine the butter, oil, garlic powder, and Kosher salt. Cover with plastic wrap and microwave for about 30 seconds until melted.
- Stir the mixture, adding parsley if using.
- Slice the bread into 1-inch thick slices and lay them on the baking sheet.
- Brush both sides of each slice with the garlic butter mixture.
- Bake for 4 minutes, then flip each slice and bake for another 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve and enjoy your masterpiece!
Notes
For a dairy-free version, use coconut oil instead of butter. Experiment with different types of bread for a unique twist.
