Ingredients
1 loaf of French bread or Italian bread
4 cloves of garlic, minced
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a bowl, mix the butter, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper until well combined.
Slice the French bread in half lengthwise.
Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly on both halves of the bread.
If using, sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
Wrap the bread in aluminum foil and place it on a baking sheet.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, then unwrap and bake an additional 5 to 10 minutes until golden brown.
Slice and serve warm.
Notes
For a cheesier option, swap Parmesan for shredded mozzarella or add a mix of both. You can also use olive oil instead of butter for a healthier alternative.
