A ridiculously easy and satisfying garlic bread recipe that makes for a crispy, buttery snack perfect for any occasion.

- 1 loaf of French bread or Italian bread
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix the butter, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Slice the French bread in half lengthwise.
- Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly on both halves of the bread.
- If using, sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
- Wrap the bread in aluminum foil and place it on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, then unwrap and bake an additional 5 to 10 minutes until golden brown.
- Slice and serve warm.
Notes
For a cheesier option, swap Parmesan for shredded mozzarella or add a mix of both. You can also use olive oil instead of butter for a healthier alternative.
