Ultimate Garlic Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of French bread (or Italian)
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Slice the French bread in half lengthwise.
  4. Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly on both halves of the bread.
  5. If using, sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
  6. Wrap the bread in aluminum foil and place it on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, then unwrap and bake an additional 5-10 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

  1. Avoid using cold butter for easier spreading and always preheat your oven for best results.
